FROM DISABILITY TO EMPLOYMENT: Returning to Work Realistically

Laura’s story tells of her negative experience upon returning to her workplace after an absence due to mental illness. Colleagues treated her differently, and her manager wouldn’t talk openly with her about her needs. Employers often lack insight regarding how to handle proper accommodations in this situation.
